Morale change proposals look good as it provides more elasticity in a team's morale over the season - the question for me now is "What is the impact?" i.e. why should we care what our morale is; what does it effect in a game? How much of a handicap/bonus does a morale deficit/advantage give to a team?

Yep, seems good on the whole to me - something certainly needs to be done.

Some observations though ....

Not sure it is necessary to have the additional morale loss for an injured high skill when losing that player is hurtful enough!

Morale increases for wage rises I would abolish completely - is completely unrealistic and is ammunition for one manager in particular to further ruin his team.

Additionally you are quite likely to get a 9 rating of a player in a game (often for 2 or 3 players) but very seldom does a player get a 5 rating so this seems a bit unbalanced (cue Druids getting a 5 rating next turn!).

Finally, only time will tell, but do you think this will actually end up seeing a dramatic difference? I could see these +'s and -'s pretty much balance out each week for each team and before long everyone will be on the max level once again? If so, then hope thee is some room for a tweak or two ....

Please don't take my negatives as moans! They are just thoughts, and to reiterate, I like the changes!

Like the changes on the whole, but I would have liked to have seen plus 2 for a 9, plus 1 for an 8 - minus one for a 6 and minus 2 for a 5.

Question: Surely there is no point in putting wages up anymore, or does it still effect morale?
